Let’s continue to flatten the curve by practicing the following:

Wash your hand regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds or clean your hands with an alcohol-based sanitizer.

Regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Avoid crowded places and maintain a 1.5 meter distance from people.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Cover your cough or sneeze with a flexed elbow or a tissue, then throw the tissue in the bin.

FAQ: How Covid-19 impacts your Capfin loan

Does my Capfin loan include credit life insurance?

We would like to advise you that Credit Life Insurance is not yet enforced on credit products in terms of the National Credit Act. Because of this, your loan with us is not insured against retrenchment, loss of income or unemployment. We will keep all our customers informed once the Credit Life Insurance legislation comes into operation to enable us to provide financial relief.

Can Capfin extend my repayment terms to allow for a 3-month payment holiday?

Regrettably, our existing loan contracts will be honoured with no change to agreed-upon loan repayment dates. You can manage your current Capfin account by logging into your account on our site or dial *134*6454# at no cost to you.

What happens if Capfin can’t be operational due to certain lockdown levels? Will you still be able to assist with loans and debt rescheduling?

Should our contact centre be closed as a result of the national lockdown, we will be unable to provide you with loans or debt restructuring. Currently, our contact centre is open during business hours. Please call us on 087 354 0000 for assistance. We will keep everyone informed if this position changes.
