IMPORTANT FAQS YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF


Q. I applied for a loan before 26 March but haven’t heard anything yet?
A. You will receive an SMS notification if we were unable to process your loan application before the 21-day national lockdown came into effect.


Q. I still need to submit my documents. Can I do it during lockdown?
A. Unfortunately not, we are unable to process any loan applications or loan documentation during the 21 days of national lockdown.


Q. My company won’t be paying my salary during lockdown. What must I do?
A. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist as our contact centre will be closed during the lockdown period. To manage your current Capfin loan, please use our self-service channels.


Q. Can I make payment arrangements during lockdown?
A. Yes. You can make payment arrangements to catch up on any missed payments, by using our self-service channels.


Q. Will Capfin be giving us a payment holiday during lockdown?
A. Regrettably, no loans will be granted during this time nor will we be able to assist with payment arrangements. Our existing loan contracts will be honoured with no change to agreed-upon loan repayment dates.


Q. Will you deduct my debit order at the end of April, even though I haven’t been working or earned a salary?
A. Yes, our existing loan contracts will be honoured with no change to agreed-upon loan repayment dates.


Q. Does my Capfin loan include credit life insurance?
A. Unfortunately not. Your Capfin loan is not insured against retrenchment, loss of income or unemployment. Our existing loan contracts will be honoured with no change to agreed-upon loan repayment dates.
